Asthma Leads for The Jalal Practice

The asthma leads are responsible for undertaking a structured clinical assessment to assess the initial probability of asthma.

Asthma Review

All asthmatic patients will be invited to come for an Annual Asthma Review (20 mins) where they will be shown the inhaler technique and will receive a personal asthma management plan. Any patients under the age of 19 will be offered for six monthly review. The patients will be invited to come in for 3 monthly review if they are poorly controlled.

For patients who are due an annual asthma review.

If your symptoms are deteriorating or you have any concerns, please make an appointment to the respiratory nurse or a doctor as well.
