From the 1st April 2021 the practice will no longer accept prescription requests via telephone or email.
All patients who have a smartphone/tablet, for example iPhone or Android, will be required download the NHS App from the App Store and register to enable them to continue to order prescriptions.
We will make exceptions for any patients who may be unable use the NHS App due to age or disability. Please let us know if this is the case.
Please ensure you have the NHS App ready to use before 1st April 2021.
All repeat prescriptions requested before mid-day will be ready within 72 hours.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications .
All repeat prescriptions have a review date printed on the prescription, please ensure you attend for a review atleast a month before this date. This is to ensure your safety on the prescribed medication and to avoid unnecessary delays to further repeat prescriptions for you.
The GP may also occasionally write a message on the right hand side of the prescription script for your attention, please check the script for these messsages.
